For 18 years
The Partnership has been committed to understanding and strengthening the
health of Douglas County. Through ongoing research and proven approaches
such as Peer to Peer training, Positive Social Marketing and the 40
Developmental Assets, we engage community members from all corners of the
county in substance abuse prevention and wellness promotion. A growing
volunteer base, the 75+ member Students Taking On Prevention, and our large,
active base of partner agencies illustrates that the word is getting out:
Prevention Works!
There are many benefits to making a donation to The
Partnership, and your gift will make an immediate impact on lives all over
the Carson Valley. There are several easy ways for you to contribute to our
many programs designed to increase prevention. For more information on
the different ways of giving, please click on the following links.
One Time and Recurring Gifts
You have several choices. You
can make an immediate
donation with your credit card through our secure server. An Electronic Fund
Transfer (EFT) provides the same benefits and features of automatic
payments, and can be made monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. Or,
you may of course give a check
made out to The Partnership of Community Resources. Any of these methods
may be used as an acknowledgement for significant life events such as
retirement, promotion, graduation, holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, or
memorials.
Planned Giving
A wonderful way to help plan a
meaningful gift through your
estate that takes full advantage of the taxable benefits – income,
capital gains, or estate.
Gifts of Stock and Appreciated Securities
Giving a
gift of appreciated stock or other financial
securities allows you to take advantage of additional tax benefits from
your contribution.
