If you observed the following, there may be a possibility that the person
has used methamphetamine: Healthwise, there could be nasal damage, dry or
pockmarked skin, elevated heartbeat and body temperature, involuntary jerky
movements, headache, decreased appetite, internal organ damage, discolored
tooth enamel.
Behavior of family members may change as they try to help: covering for
the person, enabling the dysfunction to continue. Grandparents become
parents sometimes to their child’s children due to Meth use, as the user is
unable to care for anyone, including themselves.
Employment behavior may change: missed days at work, no call no show, low
productivity, extreme difficulty staying on task.

What is “Meth Mouth?”
Within months, normal healthy teeth can begin to discolor, they may start
to show tiny black dots on the enamel, teeth sometimes begin to twist in
their sockets. They may begin to have a visible rough texture to them. Meth
users experience extreme dry mouth, to which they in turn may drink lots of
sugary soda type drinks, and due to the lack of dental hygiene, causes
cavities. Meth use usually causes decay at the gum line, eating away the
enamel. Meth users may develop cracked teeth, due to the grinding and
clenching of the teeth as the drug makes the user feel nervous.
